Based on the World Inequality Report 2022, over
the past years, the social condition of inequality
has seriously deteriorated in sectors of income,
wealth, health, gender, and carbon footprint in
India. Several initiatives have been taken up by
the Government of India to eliminate inequality
and to empower the marginalized sections by
expanding social security.
Universities in India also contribute to the
cause of reducing inequality along with the
support of the Government. Nitte (DU) provides
equal opportunities in access to health care,
education, sports, and extracurricular activities.
Nitte (DU) is continuously striving towards
reducing inequality, and shoulders the societal
